INFORMATION OBLIGATION UNDER THE GERMAN BATTERY ACT IMPLEMENTATION LAW (BattDG)
Altbatterien gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Du kannst gebrauchte Batterien unentgeltlich an unser Versandlager zurückgeben. Du bist als Verbraucher zur Rückgabe von Altbatterien gesetzlich verpflichtet.
Schadstoffhaltige Batterien sind mit einem Zeichen, bestehend aus einer durchgestrichenen Mülltonne und dem chemischen Symbol (Cd, Hg oder Pb) des für die Einstufung als schadstoffhaltig ausschlaggebenden Schwermetalls, versehen:
Used batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You may return used batteries free of charge to our shipping warehouse. As a consumer, you are legally obligated to return used batteries.
Batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out wheeled bin and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg, or Pb) of the heavy metal responsible for their classification as hazardous.
Used batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You may return used batteries free of charge to our shipping warehouse. Our take-back obligation covers battery categories that we currently offer or have previously offered as new batteries in our product range, as well as quantities typically discarded by private end users.
As a consumer, you are legally required to return used batteries. You are also required to ensure that used batteries are collected separately in order to facilitate proper treatment, reuse, repurposing, and recycling.
If you purchased batteries from us through a distance-selling contract, we are required to provide suitable return options within a reasonable distance of your location. If you live in the Wolfsburg area, you can find information about nearby return options via the following link: LINK.

Batteries containing hazardous substances that must be collected separately are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out wheeled bin and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg, or Pb) of the heavy metal responsible for their classification as hazardous:
- Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium
- Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury
- Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% lead
Used batteries must be handled with care. Batteries may contain substances that can have adverse effects on the environment, health, or safety if disposed of improperly.
Disposing of batteries in household waste or discarding them carelessly may result in the release of such substances and may also create fire and safety hazards.
Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
Electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste. Consumers can dispose of their waste electrical and electronic equipment free of charge at designated municipal collection points.

VfL Wolfsburg-Fußball GmbH is responsible for ensuring that the products it sells are affiliated with a recognized take-back system for batteries, packaging, and electrical equipment.
