Even when tickets are purchased using means of distance communication within the meaning of Section 312b (2) of the German Civil Code (BGB), for example by phone, online or by email, the contractual partner does not have a statutory two-week right of withdrawal or return. This is because an event contract, including a ticket purchase agreement, is not considered a distance contract pursuant to Section 312b (3) No. 6 BGB.
Nevertheless, VfL Wolfsburg grants the contractual partner the right to withdraw from the respective contract within 14 days of purchasing a ticket. For single-match tickets, withdrawal must take place no later than 5 days before the event. The period begins on the date of purchase or, in the case of postal delivery, when the contractual partner receives the ticket. If tickets have been sent, withdrawal must be declared in writing and the tickets must be returned at the same time to: VfL Wolfsburg-Fußball GmbH Service Center In den Allerwiesen 1 38446 Wolfsburg If no tickets have been sent, withdrawal may also be declared by phone or email. The date on which VfL Wolfsburg receives the notice of withdrawal determines whether the deadline has been met.

The DFB requires Bundesliga clubs to confiscate any items during security checks that could be used as projectiles and therefore disrupt the match. Since items such as Tetra Paks and PET plastic bottles have been thrown onto the pitch at other stadiums, these containers are also considered items that could potentially be used as projectiles.
DFB penalties can be significant when objects are thrown onto the pitch, particularly if they result in injury to a player or other participant. For these reasons, bringing beverages into the Volkswagen Arena is generally not permitted.
An exception applies to our younger visitors. Children up to 10 years of age may bring up to 0.5 liters of beverages into the Volkswagen Arena. This exception applies only to beverages in 0.5-liter Tetra Pak containers. Glass bottles, jugs and similar containers are prohibited, including for children.
Standard cameras are permitted. Professional photography equipment may not be brought into the Volkswagen Arena.
Further details, including rules regarding the use of photographs, are governed by our GTTCS and the Stadium Regulations.

Instructions issued by the police, security and stewarding personnel, stadium management and the event organizer must be followed. Bringing glass containers, cans, pyrotechnic items, weapons of any kind, alcoholic beverages or intoxicating substances into the stadium is prohibited.

Away Matches
Excerpt from the "Guidelines for Match Regulations, Section 3":
4. Tickets for Visiting Teams4. Tickets for Visiting Teams
1. The visiting club is entitled to a ticket allocation of at least 10% of the respective available stadium capacity. Complimentary and free tickets provided to the visiting club may be counted toward this allocation. The distribution of the visiting club's allocation among the different stadium areas (grandstand seats, lower-priced seats in the fan section and standing areas) depends on the structural and safety requirements of the home club's stadium. However, the home club must ensure that supporters of the visiting team are not disadvantaged in terms of pricing compared with home supporters. Tickets in the away section must therefore be offered at the same price as tickets in the equivalent category in the home section.
In particular, at least 10% of the available standing ticket allocation must always be made available to the visiting club. If there are no standing areas, or not enough standing places, in the away section, the visiting club must instead be provided with a corresponding number of seats in the away section at the price of standing-area single-match tickets for the respective match.
2. As part of the overall allocation, the event organizer must provide the visiting club with at least the following number of premium grandstand seats for sale. These seats must be located along the side of the field, in the covered area between the two penalty-area lines:
- Stadium capacity up to 30,000 spectators: 60 tickets
- Stadium capacity up to 50,000 spectators: 80 tickets
- Stadium capacity up to 60,000 spectators: 120 tickets
- Stadium capacity more than 60,000 spectators: 160 tickets
3. The home club must inform the visiting club in good time when ticket sales for the respective match will begin. From that point onward, and no later than eight weeks before the official match date, the visiting club must order from the home club the number of tickets it expects to require for its supporters. The order should be based on the most realistic possible estimate of expected demand, taking previous experience into account. If the order remains within the allocation to which the visiting club is entitled under Paragraph 1, the home club must send the requested number of tickets to the visiting club within two weeks of receiving the order. For the first two home matches of the first and second halves of the season, tickets may be sent no later than four weeks before the match. If the DFL has not yet confirmed the exact match date, the first business day following the latest possible match date of the respective matchday will be considered the official match date when calculating the deadlines specified in these regulations.
The visiting club may subsequently order additional tickets, for example in the event of unexpectedly high demand, up to four weeks before the official match date. Until that point, the respective tickets must be reserved for the visiting club. For additional orders, the home club must send the additionally requested tickets immediately, and no later than three days after receiving the order, provided that the total order remains within the visiting club's allocation under Paragraph 1.
If the home club has provided the requested tickets in good time, the visiting club must begin selling them no later than six weeks before the official match date. The visiting club should:
a) begin selling standing and seated tickets at the same time;
b) sell tickets within the same category on a block-by-block basis, meaning that all tickets in one block should be sold before tickets in another block within the same category are offered;
c) make reasonable efforts to ensure that the tickets it sells are sold only to supporters of the visiting club. Upon request, the visiting club must immediately inform the home club of the current status of ticket sales. If the visiting club requests more than 25% of its total ticket allocation, including any additional orders, it is required to accept and pay for at least 50% of the total number of tickets ordered. The remaining tickets provided to the visiting club may be returned free of charge up to ten days before the match. The deadline is met if the returned tickets are received by the home club no later than 17:00 CET on the weekday corresponding to the day on which the match will take place ten days later. If the final day of the deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday or officially recognized public holiday, the deadline will move to the next business day. Tickets that have not been returned by this deadline will be considered sold and must be paid for by the visiting club.
The clubs involved may mutually agree to different procedures for the visiting club's ticket sales, particularly for matches where the DFL can only confirm the exact date at short notice, such as relegation playoffs.

Family Section
As part of its commitment to being a family-friendly club and promoting health, VfL Wolfsburg has introduced a complete smoking ban in the Family Section following numerous requests from VfL fans. VfL Wolfsburg kindly asks all Wolves supporters to refrain from smoking before, during and after the match, both within the Family Section itself and throughout the entire concourse in this area. Designated smoking areas are available near the Family Section for anyone who wishes to smoke.
The aim of this initiative is to protect non-smokers – and children in particular – from the dangers of secondhand smoke.
Within the Family Section, the child category is divided into two age groups: Children up to and including 6 years of age and Children from 7 up to and including 15 years of age. Anyone older than 15 is considered an adult in this section.
Adults may only enter and remain in the Family Section when accompanied by a child. The maximum permitted combination is two adults and one child. Pensioners and senior citizens are exempt from this rule and may use the Family Section without being accompanied by a child.
The Family Section comprises Blocks 13, 15 and 16, as well as half of Blocks 17 and 18 at the Volkswagen Arena. The Family Section access restrictions apply in these blocks.

In the WölfeShop, you can book tickets for all VfL Wolfsburg matches that have been released for advance sale. Tickets for the away section at home matches are excluded from online sales unless the visiting club agrees to them being sold through the WölfeShop.
The respective club determines when tickets are released for sale. This information will be announced through the club's media channels.

Because several customers may be accessing the system at the same time, there may occasionally be an overlap when seats are selected. If this happens, please restart the ordering process and select different seats.

Please make sure that all information is complete and correct to ensure that your ticket order can be processed and booked successfully.

Only VISA and Mastercard are accepted as credit cards in the online shop.
After successfully completing your order, you will receive an email confirming that your order has been received.
As additional checks may still be required, this email does not constitute final order confirmation. You will also receive an invoice when your tickets are sent or delivered.

Where possible in individual cases, these spectators may be assigned alternative suitable seats within the Volkswagen Arena. There is no entitlement to an alternative seat.
Please note that visibility in designated fan sections may occasionally be restricted by waving flags and standing supporters. Complaints relating to these circumstances cannot be accepted.
The southwest section of the Volkswagen Arena (Lower Tier Blocks 29, 33 and 35) is generally designated as the away section. However, depending on the visiting club's requirements, the away section can be expanded into the Upper Tier (Blocks 32–36), up to the maximum ticket allocation available to the visiting club.
Home fans are not permitted in the away section. The Security and Stewarding Service (SOD) is authorized to remove spectators from the stadium or deny them entry if they are visibly identifiable as home fans or identify themselves as home fans through their behavior, even if they hold a valid ticket for the away section.
Tickets for the away section are available in advance exclusively through the respective visiting club. Tickets can only be booked through the WölfeShop with the visiting club's approval.
As parking capacity at the Volkswagen Arena is limited, parking spaces are not available for purchase. The existing parking spaces are reserved for fans with accessibility needs and sponsors.
Visitors enter and remain in the Volkswagen Arena and its associated outdoor areas at their own risk. VfL Wolfsburg-Fußball GmbH is not liable for personal injury or property damage, including damage resulting from the structural condition of the stadium. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected. By purchasing a ticket, spectators accept the Stadium Regulations. Instructions issued by the police, security and stewarding personnel, stadium management and the event organizer must be followed. Bringing glass containers, cans, pyrotechnic items, weapons of any kind, alcoholic beverages or intoxicating substances into the stadium is prohibited.
Further information can be found in the General Terms and Conditions and the applicable Stadium Regulations.
